To get ChatGPT to recommend your products, put accurate product data in its catalog, win the same search in Google Shopping, and earn reviews it can read. ChatGPT’s product results are organic, and OpenAI ranks sellers on availability, price, and quality. For best results, work the seven steps below in order. Step 1: Confirm Your…
Yes, ChatGPT uses Bing, but only for a small share of its searches in 2026. OpenAI still names Bing as the search engine for its Enterprise and Edu workspaces. For everyone else, a July 2026 study found the results coming from OpenAI’s own index and from Google. So Bing is a ten-minute setup for your…
No, you do not need to rank in Google to show up in ChatGPT. Ahrefs found only 8% of the pages ChatGPT cites rank in Google’s top 10 for the same prompt. Google still matters, since paid ChatGPT pulls about 75% of its search results from Google. So being indexed there counts for more than…
No, AI search will not replace Google. Google still handled 89.9% of the world’s searches in September 2026, and its own AI Mode has passed 1 billion monthly users. The best AI visibility tracking tool for most Shopify stores is Otterly.AI, since $29 a month covers the 15 buying questions that decide your sales. Semrush and Ahrefs fit stores already paying for those suites, and Profound fits enterprise budgets. For best results, run a hand check first so you know what to track. Key…
You should not delete old blog posts in most cases. Google’s Search Liaison has said deleting content because it is old is “not a thing,” and most old posts still hold links, rankings, or impressions the rest of your site uses. The posts worth deleting are thin pages, duplicates, and posts competing with a better…
